The Clydesdale Bank 40 (CB40) is a forty-over limited overs cricket competition for first-class English counties.
The competition was previously known as the ECB40 (ECB stands for the England and Wales Cricket Board).
The Clydesdale Bank 40 began in the 2010 English cricket season, replacing the Pro40 and Friends Provident Trophy competitions.
