From February 16 to March 1, the Royal Johannesburg & Kensington Golf Club in Johannesburg, South Africa will host the Joburg Open.
The 210-man field will play in Royal Johannesburg & Kensington Golf Club's East and West course for the first two rounds before the East course hosts the two final rounds.
This tournament will also serve as a ticket to the Open Championship wherein the top three finishers within the Joburg Open will book a spot at St. Andrews in July.
Defending champion Geoge Coetzee will try to win his back-to-back Joburg Open. However, it won't be easy as he will compete against Richard Sterne, Darren Clarke, Andy Sullivan and last week's Indian Open runner-up SSP Chawrasia.
The sportsbook handicappers have installed George Coetzee as the favorite to win his 2nd Joburg Open title. His strongest competitors in the tournament are Alex Noren, Andy Sullivan and Gregory Bourdy.
