Kobe Bryant struggled in his first four games after a long hiatus last season. He's shooting 41.2% plus newcomers Carlos Boozer and Jeremy Lin are playing sub-par during the losing streak.
It is still early in the season for the Lakers to press the panic button. They must improve their overall defense as they allowed a league-high 118 points per game in their first four games. Expect Kobe to carry again the offense for the Lakers but his teammates must also contribute as he can't do it all alone.
