2014 Eastern Conference Championship Game 2:Miami Heat at Indiana PacersMay 20, 2014 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, the top seed Indiana Pacers will host the defending champions Miami Heat in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Championship. Indiana leads the series, 1-0.

Last Sunday, the Pacers dished out their patented plays and defense to defeat the Heat, 107-96. They limited the Heat's perimeter shooting especially in the 3-point area. Indiana also protected well under the basket as they limit the scoring opportunities of LBJ and D-Wade.

The Pacers knows that the Heat will have adjustments for Game 2. Getting the home court advantage in the Eastern Conference was the No. 1 priority of the Pacers but they must protect it and prevent the Heat to tie the series at one game apiece.

The Miami Heat have watched and scrutinized their Game 1 struggles during their video session. Coach Erik Spoelstra knows that he needs to make some changes in the Heat's offense and defense.

LBJ, D-Wade and CB have played together for a long time and they know how to lead and recover after a loss in a series. They were in this situation before and know how it is important to tie the series rather than go home with a 2-0 series deficit.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Miami Heat as a 2.5-point favorite to beat the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday night.
