On Thursday, the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, United Arab Emirates will host the Omega Dubai Desert Classic. The tournament is sanctioned by the European Tour and will run until February 2.
A total of 132 players will participate in the tournament which includes World No. 1 Tiger Woods. Woods will be joined by eight other major champions such as Michael Campbell, Fred Couples, John Daly, Ernie Els, Paul Lawrie, Rory McIlroy, Jose Maria Olazabal and Mark O'Meara.
Defending tournament winner will have the privilege to tee off with Tiger Woods and 2009 Omega Dubai Desert Classic winner Rory McIlroy in the first 36 holes of the tournament.
The sportsbook handicappers have installed Rory McIlroy as the favorite to win the Omega Dubai Desert Classic. Tiger Woods and Henrik Stenson are his worthy challengers in the tournament.
