2013 NBA First Round Playoffs:Miami Heat vs. Milwaukee BucksApril 23, 2012 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, the Miami Heat hosts Game 2 of the 2013 NBA 1st round playoffs at the AmericanAirlines Arena. Game time is set at 7:30PM ET. Miami leads the series 1-0.

Defending champion Miami Heat showed the Milwaukee Bucks their offensive and defensive efficiency in Game 1's 110-87 win. MVP candidate Lebron James was at the forefront as he led Miami with 27 points, 10 rebs and 8 assists. He played only for 35 minutes and shot 9 for 11 on the floor.

It was a total team effort for Miami as Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Ray Allen and Chris Andersen also scored in double figures. One thing the Heat must improve in Game 2 is to lessen their turnovers and improve their efficiency in the 3-point area.

The Milwaukee Bucks played very well in the 1st half and trailed 7 points during the break. In the 2nd half, Milwaukee succumbed to the Heat's defense and offense. The Bucks' offensive had become predictable with Monta Ellis and Brandon Jennings carrying the load. Both players did not share the ball with their teammates and was limited to one-on-one plays.

Milwaukee must find a way to involve the other Bucks' player in their offensive set. They also must limit the passing lanes that Lebron James exploited during Game 1 to have chance to tie the series at one game a piece.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Miami Heat as a 14-point favorite to beat the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night.
