On Thursday, the Thracian Cliffs Golf & Beach Resort in Kavarna, Bulgaria will host the Volvo World Match Play Championship. The tournament will run until May 19.
The 24-man field will be split into eight groups of three and will play in a round-robin format. Defending champion Nicolas Colsaerts will face Branden Grace and Kiradech Aphibarnrat in the Ian Woosnam Group.
Brett Rumford will attempt to win his third straight tournament in the European Tour. This feat was only accomplished by the great Nick Faldo and Seve Ballesteros. Rumford will go meet Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano and Jamie Donaldson in the Gary Player group.
