2012 FIA Formula One:Indian Grand Prix

On Sunday, the Formula One Championship moves to Buddh International Circuit in Uttar Pradesh, India for the 2nd Indian Grand Prix. Qualifying for race position will start at 2PM local time.

The 5.125-km race circuit was inaugurated last October 18, 2011 and was designed by world renowned architect and racetrack designer Herman Tilke. The 60 lap race will cover a total of 307.249km race distance. Red Bull Racing-Renault's Sebastian Vettel was the inaugural winner of the Indian Grand Prix.

Sebastian Vettel three race winning streak has help him notched 1st place in the driver's standings over Ferrari's Fernando Alonso. Vettel won in Singapore, Japan and Korea in astounding fashion. His Red Bull Racing-Renault F1 car displayed its durability and race pace.

Ferrari's Fernando Alonso is now at 2nd place and six points behind leader Sebastian Vettel. Lotus-Renault Kimi Raikonnen is in 3rd place with 167 points followed by McLaren-Mercedes Lewis Hamilton who is in 4th place with 153 points.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Red Bull Racing-Renault Sebastian Vettel as the favorite to win his 2nd Indian Grand Prix title on Sunday. He has to look out for Ferrari's Fernando Alonso who is also in the hunt for the Formula One Championship title.
