2012 FIA Formula One:Hungarian Grand Prix

On Sunday, the FIA Formula One racing moves to the Hungaroring circuit for the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Hungaring is located 19km from the center of Budapest near the Mogyorod village.

The 70-lap race will cover 4.381km per lap for a total race distance of 306.630km. Seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher holds the fastest lap record of 1 min 19.071 sec which he set in 2004.

In the last race in Germany, Ferrari's Fernando Alonso did a superb job in keeping both Red Bull Racing-Renault's Sebastian Vettel and McLaren-Mercedes' Jenson Button at bay to notched his 3rd win of the 2012 season. Alonso started at pole position after he registered the fastest time during the wet and slippery qualifying session.

Fernando Alonso now has 154 points to lead the drivers' standings. Mark Webber sits at 2nd place with 120 points followed by Sebastian Vettel, Kimi Raikkonen and Lewis Hamilton to complete the top 5. Red Bull Racing-Renault still leads the Constructor's championship standings with 230 points followed by Ferrari (177) and McLaren-Mercedes (160).

The sportsbook handicappers have picked Ferrari's Fernando Alonso as the favorite to win the Hungarian Grand Prix and earn as the first back-to-back winner this season. Red Bull Racing-Renault's Sebastian Vettel and McLaren-Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton are his main challengers in this Sunday's race.
